Near Peer Medical Teaching is a teaching program for medical students, run by junior doctors. This program assists in bedside teaching, skills teaching and tutorials for students.

QASC: Quality & Safety Committee
The Quality and Safety Committee is involved in providing feedback and JMO input regarding clinical quality, safety and patient care.
There are numerous quality improvement projects and audits taking place within the CCLHD. Check out the CCRMOA Facebook group for more information about QASC including their newsletters and monthly meetings.

Twice the Doctor
Twice the Doctor is a charity set up by Doctors at Gosford Hospital with the concept that one day's sacrificed pay in the developed world can buy a lot more healthcare in the developing world; using funds to train and employ local healthcare workers in developing countries.

Critical Care
The Central Coast Critical Care and Simulation (CCCCS) is a platform to use simulation to develop clinical decision making, procedural skills, teamwork and leadership.
It is a educational group for JMOs to further their knowledge, and to explore all areas of critical care medicine in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Women in Health
The CCRMOA Women in Health initiative put on numerous events, including Mentorship Sessions with senior female medical staff, to allow informal meetings and discussions about both work and life.
They have also recently set up a fundraiser, donating 73 care packages to the local Coast Shelter for women in need.
